After starting college, my first week was spent in a blur. The new experiences were all too fast and I tried his best to adapt. I was happy the first week and as this was the first time he had been away felt that the freedom it gave was great. This all came crashing down after the initial high was over.
I had been calling his family every night, but still felt uncomfortable in college. The mess food, while good seemed to progressively get worse. The bed while having the same mattress as his home, still felt different. Most weekends most of my friends in the hostel would leave to their home, while some stayed, it was still the emptiness that made him uncomfortable.

Many nights I did not sleep thinking about what might have been made at home and how my family might be enjoying the night. This feeling seems to progressively get worse.
After finishing my PG, I got a job where I'm now, which is very long away from my home, and while coming to this place, I felt really, very bad as I never wanted to leave my house. Anyways I didn't show it out, but my heart was very heavy, and I cried while traveling. On the other side, if you go home, no job may be doing some business with dad, that's it, and you can't go back merely leaving your job offer.
I'm working far away from home with no other option, desperately wanna go home or get a job near my hometown. Every day in the morning after waking up, I feel very lonely

I made the tough decision to emigrate to a country on the other side of the world. To start a new life and crazy adventure with a man I'd fallen in love with.
At the airport, my family and I said endless tearful goodbyes. We heard the final call for passengers to board the plane.
Just as I entered the boarding area, I tried turning back, but a staff member politely blocked me and led me away.
I cried for most of the never-ending journey. The further from home I got, the more it felt like my heart was breaking.
My wonderful family, all my friends, places where I grew up, and even familiar sights, sounds, and smells…. All gone.
Because of the workload of college, I joined the hostel. From the very first day to the last day of the College before lockdown, I felt homesick. My friends teased me about this. I was the one in my batch who leaves directly from the College after finishing the semester exam or on weekends, and I went back to College after a week of starting the new semester. I am that much close to my parents.

A STORY
Adi is a student who just started college. He moved from across the country, to enter and this was the first time he left his home for more than a month. He had all his schooling done near his home, in the same town, and rarely had any experience moving out.
After starting college, his first week was spent in a blur. The new experiences were all too fast and he tried his best to adapt. He was happy the first week and as this was the first time he had been away felt that the freedom it gave was great. This all came crashing down after the initial high was over.

Most weekends most of his friends in the hostel would leave to their home, while some stayed, it was still the emptiness that made him uncomfortable.
Many nights he did not sleep thinking about what might have been made at his home and how they might be enjoying the night. This feeling progressively got worse. He talked to some seniors who were in a similar situation as him in past years about how they dealt with it and they recommended the service Swaddle.
He searched a little more about them and found out what they did. One need only register, and all the equipment would be sent to you. It came with written as well as video instructions on how to set it up. One could even hire people to set it up for them.
The setup consisted of a few cameras that surround the place, this way we are able to get 360 degrees view of the place and through photogrammetry map the place to a 3D structure. This 3D structure is used to place the user in that place and helps movement without actually moving the cameras. Hence reducing the chance of failures and distractions.
This enables one to have real-time conversations with their family in the place of your choosing. The equipment is rented to different families based on their needs. He was able to meet his parents and with the help of the sensory suit.
It enabled one to experience all the senses in the place. It can record the sound and smell of the place and through that give the needed feeling. The feeling of touch is also felt through the suit. This way the person is able to feel his parents and hug them.
To fit in constrained spaces, we even provide a 2D portable treadmill. This allows people to not care about space requirements. It tracks your leg movement and according to that moves. This enables the service to reach many more people who feel cramped and want to wander in their old homes.
One of the features he was excited about was the recording feature, in which his parents are able to record the meeting and he is able to experience that without the hassle of setting up the material all the time. This was great as his family may not be available at all times and if he wants he could a map of the last interaction along with the recordings.
It was through this that he was able to gradually transition into his college life. Learning new things and slowly growing throughout his life.
